Born just down the road in Santa Barbara, Linda moved up to Atascadero at the tender age of 6, so that her family could be closer to her grandparents (who were caretakers of the Veteran’s Memorial Building. Graduating from high school in the late 70’s, Linda gave up a promising Disco Dancing career to get her AS in Dental Assisting from Hancock College. Since then she has worked for over 29 years in the field, with the last 15 years in this office.
Linda is married to Lloyd, a handsome outdoors type who works at Oceano Dunes (he’s taken ladies!!). Linda’s pride is fully invested in her 3 amazing sons, and 2 wonderful stepchildren. Her non-human children consist of a Dachsund (Dixie), a McNab (Bailey) and a Himalayan (Sassy; who is not to be confused with Pat’s cat of the same name).
Pat’s husband introduced her to snow skiing at the same time that she was being treated for breast cancer, and she’s been a survivor of both for over 4 years. She thanks her Loving Father for each and every morning.
Linda takes great joy in teaching, not only her church’s Sunday school, but in her youngest son’s grammar school as well. She’s not afraid of the kitchen where friends and family and flock for a taste for her home canned Marinara and HOT Pepper Jam. She loves dark chocolate, cooing babies, her father-in-law’s Lobster Thermador and squeezing every cent out of Dental Insurance Companies (they hate her).
When you run into her at the office, she’ll be making financial arrangements, billing insurances, and coordinating treatment and recalls.
We couldn’t be more proud to have her as our front woman in our fight in “making the world safe for teeth”.
